The change Process...
All of us get stuck, find ourselves in situations where we can't seem to make the progress we want. It may relate to events in our past, current relationships, or goals for the future. Meeting with someone trained to help can give you the gentle push you need to start moving forward.
This "push" comes in a safe and caring environment, one in which you can move at the pace that fits where you're at. The process can reveal deep emotions and lead to insights that pave the way for change. If you're wanting to live and experience life in new ways, the process of counseling may be your best next step.

A bit about me...

I've been helping change since 2005. Prior to starting my practice, I worked for 10 years on staff of a campus church at the University of Illinois, Illini Life Christian Fellowship. My faith directs and informs how I approach my work yet I've worked with people across the spiritual spectrum. If your Christian world view is important to you, we can together seek to understand what the Lord is doing in your life.
Before earning my M.A. in counseling I received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois. Yes, that was a bit of a switch from Engineering to Counseling :) When not sitting with clients my life is full of chaos, laughter, and messes of one type or another - that's to say, I have a larger family, 6 boys, 4 girls, and a baby on the way. My wife and I also are licensed foster parents so the number of children in our home can change quite a bit.
